Gifted and Talented Coordinator 
St Andrew’s Cathedral School
 1999-2002
In this role I created the school agenda and programs for Gifted and Talented children including the identification and subsequent program provision for students in years 3-9, while providing advocacy for individual needs to years 10 – 12.

  • Facilitated inaugural Tournament of Minds team – competed at State level, 2000. Created a new co-curricular position for TOM facilitator and trained a colleague for the role.
  • Master in Charge of Debating and Public Speaking at inter-school competition levels coaching teams to ISDA Grand Final and Finals level in 2001 and 2002.

In both full-time and part-time roles, I undertook a wide range of responsibilities and initiatives, performing supervisory, co-ordination roles and relief executive roles.  I have appreciated the opportunities to plan, monitor and evaluate programs to suit class needs on a grade basis, to document integrated units of work and to encourage the professional development of fellow staff.
